North Hills Museum

North Hills Museum, 5065 Granville Road in Granville Ferry, is home to perhaps the finest collection of 18th century porcelain, glassware, paintings and furniture in Canada. Situated in a farmhouse built in 1764, the museum holds a collection assembled by the antiques collector Robert Pallen Patterson. Upon his death in 1974, Mr Patterson willed the house and its contents to the people of Nova Scotia. A visit to this museum is like stepping into an episode of the Antiques Roadshow. Throughout the summer the museum hosts a variety of events which are designed to appeal to visitors as well as members of our community.
